Back to basics.

The first exercise on the reformer is footwork. It helps to centre and warm up the body.

Why do we change the foot position on the bar? It stimulates different organs.

Toes = Heart
Arches = Liver
Heels = Kidney
Tendon stretch = a stretch for the Achilles tendon and calf muscles and provides feedback for proper foot alignment.
