🎣 Sometimes It Takes Just One 🎣

Some days the fish make you work for it. Cast after cast, you keep fishing and enjoying every minute on the water.

It might take a little longer to catch just one, but I’m not complaining. Being out on the water, enjoying the peace, the scenery, and the adventure is what fishing is all about.

Catching a fish is just a bonus. 🎣🌲🇨🇦

Sometimes it’s not about catching the biggest fish—it’s about enjoying the bite, the fight, and another moment on the water. 🎣🌲

In this clip, I’m working the bait when a smallmouth bass decides to bite. From fishing the back-lake water to getting the fish up and showing off the catch, it’s another memory from a great day of fishing.

That’s what Fishing With Andrew is all about—getting outdoors, exploring new water, catching fish, and making memories along the way.

Nothing beats the chaos of trying to land a fish when everything is happening at once. 🎣😂

Rod bent, fish fighting at the boat, net in the water — this is what fishing memories are made of.

It’s not always about the biggest fish. Sometimes it’s the teamwork, the laughs, and those crazy moments on the water that make the trip unforgettable.

Just a small one… but a fish is a fish! 🎣🐟

Hooked into this little smallmouth while working the shoreline. Nothing huge, but these smaller bass can still put up a pretty fun fight.

Not every catch has to be a monster to make a good day on the water.

Another smallmouth on the board! 🎣🐟

Caught this one working a Texas Rig with the CrushCity Cleanup Craw. Sometimes keeping it simple and slowing that bait down around cover is all it takes to get the bite.

Nothing beats feeling that tap, setting the hook, and seeing a smallmouth come to the surface.

The best times in fishing aren’t always about the biggest catch. Sometimes, it’s about being on the water with a buddy, sharing laughs, enjoying the adventure, and making memories along the way.

Because at the end of the day, some of the best fishing memories aren’t about the fish at all—they’re about the people you shared them with.

Fishing is always better with good company. 🎣🤝

🎣 TEXAS RIG FISHING TIPS

The Texas rig is one of my favourite setups when I’m fishing around weeds, wood, rocks, docks, and shoreline cover. Simple, weedless, and effective. 🐟

A few things that work for me:

🎯 Setup: 3/0–5/0 offset/wide gap hook with a 1/8–3/8 oz bullet weight
🎯 Retrieve: Drag it, hop it, pause it, and let the bait do the work
🎯 Key: Keep contact with the bottom and pay attention to those subtle bites
🎯 Best part: The weedless presentation lets you fish right into the cover where bass like to hide

Sometimes the best thing you can do with a Texas rig is slow down and be patient. Let it hit bottom, work it through the cover, and be ready to set the hook.
