After a mountain bike crash left boat builder Chris Foster facing the eventual loss of use in his left arm, the dream he had carried for years took on a new urgency.

Now, Chris is working to complete The Ghostship, a fully electric, leave-no-trace sailboat he plans to sail from the UK to Patagonia and back, testing both the boat and himself on a true offshore expedition.

Episode 9 of Live Beyond Land is a story about low-impact exploration, unfinished dreams, and the belief that neither a boat nor a person has to be finished to begin.

Last weekend, Brooklyn showed up for Cole Brauer!

Supporters started lining up an hour early for an afternoon of stories, laughs, and a special reading from Cole’s new book, First Light, as she reflected on becoming the first American woman to race solo nonstop around the world.

We couldn’t have asked for a better first event together. A huge thank you to Cole, her team, and everyone who joined us. We’re grateful to be along for the journey.
