You're in for a full-day of action at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, BC. Here are some of the top storylines to follow:
3:50pm: C 3000m Race Walk International with Canada's Olympian teammates Evan Dunfee and Olivia Lundman.
4:22pm: M 400mH International where the Meet Record may be threatened by Jamaican Assinie Wilson, a NACAC U23 champion, Barbadian national record holder Rasheeme Griffith, and 4x NCAA Medalist James Smith LL.
4:27pm: W Seated Shot Put International with Canadian Paralympian Julia Hanes. Be here. Be inspired.
4:47pm: M+W 100m Heats led by Joseph Amoah, back to defend this year, against Usheoritse Itsekiri of Nigeria and American Marcellus Moore, the later two boasting times of 9.97 and 9.96. Also cheer for Canadian star Malachi Murray.
5:34pm: M Shot Put International from the south-end of Swangard Stadium. Chris Van Niekerk from South Africa holds a season’s best throw that’s only 0.18m over Sarah Mitton’s, to show what type of world-class form Sarah is in.
5:39pm: Triple Jump International may be seen from the grand stands at Swangard Stadium. Leading the charge for Canada are brothers Divine and Praise Aniamaka who respectively hold the event's top seeds with marks of 16.50m and 16.49m.
5:49pm: W 100m Hurdles feature Canadian star Tatiana Aholou who arrives with a new wind-aided season best 12.59, where the event record is 12.76 set by Canadian Olympian Jessica Zelinka.
6:05pm M 110m Hurdles meet record is held by Canadian Mark McKoy, who later won gold in the 110m hurdles at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Americans Michael Dickson and De'Vion Wilson enter with top times this year.
5:35pm: Host City Welcome includes a thank you to all event partners including the Government of Canada, Government of British Columbia, Athletics Canada, World Athletics, BC Athletics, Sport Burnaby, White Spot and Fitness World.
6:36pm: M 100m Finals Premium of this historic event has featured Canadian Olympians Donovan Bailey, Andre De Grasse, Aaron Brown, Jerome Blake, and, of course, the iconic Harry Jerome when he first won the race back in 1964.
100m women’s champs include Philippine national record Kristina Knott who is back this year, Meet record holder Maia McCoy from the USA, and Audrey Leduc, Canadian national record holder over 100m and 200m. Witness this event in prime time.
6:42pm: Mascot Race. Cheer on Shoey from RUNVAN in the new Mascot race! The event will also have fun prize giveaways in the stands. BTW, your tickets also enter you into a draw to win or be reimbursed on two entries into the BMO Vancouver Marathon.
6:49pm: W 200m International features another deep field with Canadian Olympian teammates Zoe Sherar, Jacqueline Madogo Marie-Éloïse Leclair, plus Kristina Knott. Olympian Marie-Éloïse Leclair is also a 2x recipient of the Clement Scholarship.
6:58pm: M 800m Premium meet record is held by four-time USA Olympian Johnny Gray in 1:43.70. This year, watch for Jamaican national record holder Navasky Anderson, Olympian Handal Roban and cheer on Team Canada’s Abdullahi Hassan.
7:04pm: W 800m includes Olympic and Team Canada Teammates Lucia Stafford, Jazz Shukla, Aurora Rynda, Addy Townsend and more. Don’t miss this stacked field as they chase three-time Olympian Melissa Bishop‘s meet record of 1:58.79.
7:18pm: W Shot Put Premium features star Sarah Mitton who threw 20.68m at the 2025 World Athletics Indoor Tour to win gold with the world’s best indoor throw since 2013. Olympian Danniel Thomas-Dodd of Jamaica is also back after winning last year.
7:20pm: W 400m Premium features Canadian Olympians Madeline Price, Kyra Constantine and Jasneet Nijjar competing against a strong field including Bermuda’s national record holder Caitlyn Bobb, who boasts a field best season best, 51.11.
7:40pm: W 3000m Steeplechase Premium is always exciting and Canadian Olympian Ceili McCabe‘s meet record could be challenged by Angelina Ellis and Gracie Hyde of the USA, plus Amy Cashin of Australia. Catch all of the action live.
7:56pm: M 1500m Premium features Canadian Olympians Charles Philibert-Thiboutot and Jean-Simon Desgagnés versus a stacked 1500m field including National and NCAA Champs from the United States in Joe Waskom, Samuel Prakel, Nathan Green.
8:06pm: W 1500m Premium features Hanna Hermansson, Sweden’s 7x National Champ. Meet records are held by Canadian Olympian Lynn Kanuka Williams in 4:04.43, and Kieran Lumb who set the men's record just last year in a fast 3:34.53.
8:17pm: G+B 4x100m JD Relays return. Girls and Boys U12 and U14 Relay Events will take place on the track before the finale.
8:39pm: W 3000m International features Jerome Classic 3000m Steeplechase champ and 3x Canadian Olympian, Regan Yee. First Half podium finisher Elissa Legault also returns.
8:52pm: M 3000m features Canadian Olympian Thomas Fafard, back after setting the men's 3000m Meet Record just last year in 7:41.20. With a season best of 7:37.72, he's after another record.
8:52pm: Recognizable names from the road running scene also include First Half and BMO Vancouver Half Marathon Champion Andrew Davies, plus upcoming star Yemane Mulugeta.
