I love making things. I love knives. I started making them because I had to make it a tangible creation from what was rattling around in my head.
Now, I'm hooked and even refurbish customers old knives. It's such a throw-away society and helping my customers bring a great blade back to life, has also become a passion.

I wanted to make myself something special I would carry and utilize some Koa that I have a connection too, for the handles. This comes with a high carbon tool steel blade, heat coloured torx rivets, Koa handles, forced patina blade finish, and custom copper lanyard bead. My small EDC fixed blade worked out just how I wanted!

Christmas 2023 brought new wonder into my life for which I am feeling so grateful for. And so, a new knife was also born. This is now in the hands of my special someone, who is just as crazy about knives as I am. It was fun to make my first official kitchen knife!!!

Major distractions….With Fanexpo coming in February, just trying to get the outfit done. I call it the Mando-Clonian. So most of the main armour is done and has the primer and base metallic laid down. Will paint to match the helmet, then attach to the soft gear. Pumped for Expo!!!

Cosplay project- finished my nerf gun mod. So after hours of filing, bondo, sanding, carving, glueing,etc, I’m happy with my first gun prop. Started out very colourful as you can see but after a completely new wooden stock and paint job, it will serve me well. Just time to make a nice leather blaster-sling for my back!

Distracted by cosplay lately, however my sheath making skills have come in handy for the leatherwork on my Star Wars blaster holster. Loving crafting outside again!

My latest….a dining table required before Christmas! Somehow I was able to get it done and although this was the second edition (due to table top version one failure), it actually worked out well. I’m very pleased with it and so was the new owner. I know it’s not a new knife picture, but I was able to sink my teeth into this project

Knife designing and after talking with a valuable local resource, whom has practical experience, I wanted to come up with something that could be used by anyone, and yet , versatile enough for someone in the search/police and rescue department. It’s quite enjoyable picking the brains of someone that experiences the realities of their profession. Hopefully this can be a tool for the greater good.

Making a Viking shield….because why not!!! With a freshly sharpened blade, the planing of the boards goes easily. I’ve been wanting to make one for a while and add to my arms and weapons collection.

I recently customized a friends CRKT Pilar. The back spacer here is the stock model and works against the dark textured blade and handle. However, I have a piece of stag antler that will be replacing the current spacer and will add exactly what it needs.
