Congrats SFU Women's Soccer Team !!!
A season that will be remembered forever. 🏆🏆🏆
The President’s Team of the Year Award recognizes a team that has achieved excellence in competition, leadership, and academics while representing SFU at the highest level.
And the 2025–26 President’s Team of the Year is… Women’s Soccer. ⚽️
This historic group delivered their best-ever regular season in the NCAA era, captured their third straight GNAC tournament championship in a dramatic penalty shootout on Terry Fox Field, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.
Along the way, the team earned three All-Region selections, seven All-GNAC honours, and featured the GNAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year. Off the field, they continued to excel with a 3.18 cumulative GPA.
A season defined by history, resilience, and excellence in every sense. 👏
