Our hearts go out to the families of Cameron Casorso, JJ Wright and Caden Fine. These young athletes were taken far too soon, thinking of all of their friends, family and the entire Southern Alberta Mutangs community. The entire hockey community grieves with you 🏒

We had a new employee start yesterday, some of you may recognize him as Jason Scoffins son Jeremy Scoffins, welcome to the team we are excited to have you on board.

Jeremy is currently learning his new role as he will be taking over the warehouse area and looking after the shipping and receiving of all goods that come in and out our door. This transition will give both Jason and Brent the opportunity to focus on their roles and continue to grow the business.

The next time you are in, if you see Jeremy be sure to say hi!

Nicole O’Brien is the loving wife of Cst. Rick O’Brien, the RCMP officer that was tragically killed in the line of duty in September. Nicole has created The Cst Rick O’Brien Joint Forces Foundation and together with the Maple Ridge RCMP Detachment, we are organizing the 1st Annual Cst. Rick O'Brien Joint Forces Jamboree. An inclusive ball hockey event that brings together youth, law enforcement and other first responders for a day of camaraderie, sportsmanship, and community building.
Registration opens on March 1st and will be $30 per player. 4 age brackets and each team will play 2 games. No experience required and will include an adaptive game too!

We stand with New Westminster Minor Hockey Association and the Gabbassov family as they navigate the days ahead. 🏒🏒

🏒❤ Join us in a display of strength and unity as we rally around our U15A1 team. This past weekend, they shone brilliantly in a hockey tournament in Kelowna, winning a gold medal. However, tragedy struck as Timur Gabbassov (player) and his father Ravil faced a car crash on the Coquihalla Highway. Miraculously, Timur emerged with minor injuries, but Ravil tragically lost his life. We extend our deepest condolences to the Gabbassov family.

In this challenging time, our hockey community stands as one. Counselling services are available for those affected through NWMHA/BC Hockey/Hockey Canada.

In solidarity, the U15A1 team voted to play as "Ravil wouldn't have missed a game" and calls upon the New Westminster Royals family to support the Gabbassovs. Attend their game tonight (January 9, 2024) against Semiahmoo at South Surrey Arena, starting at 6:45 PM. Please wear your New Westminster jerseys to show love, strength, and unity.

We will be closed all day tomorrow, November 26th as BC Hydro will be shutting off the power to our building as well as others around us.

We will be open on Monday morning at 9am.
