Playground is the Lower Mainland's first Hip-Hop Fitness Studio established in 2015. Playground offers body rocking, bass dropping, group fitness and personal training in South Burnaby.

A few performances deserve some extra recognition.

Dom / Robin didnโ€™t just win Menโ€™s. They finished #1 overall across the entire field, taking the top score in Ski, Sled Push, BBJ, Sled Pull and Row.

Andrew / Bryce pushed them all the way and finished #2 overall.

And Annie / Kathy won the Womenโ€™s division while finishing #3 overall, with Annie and Kathy putting up the highest Lunge and Wall Ball scores of the entire competition.

Shoutout as well to Amy / Suzanne, Steven / Kenny, Sooyoung / Meranda, Catherinn / Alex and Celine / Jay for some seriously competitive performances in their divisions.

But the best part was the room.

People yelling for teams they werenโ€™t competing with. Partners finding another gear for each other. And 38 athletes willing to find out what seven rounds of the Gauntlet actually feels like.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and made our first one something worth building on.

And thank you to LSKD for backing our community and helping us reward the people doing the work.
