Wednesday Night Race Series

I hate even writing this. Unfortunately, due to reasons beyond our control, we have to forgo the 2024 Albion Weekly Race Series. I would like to thank everyone for the support last year, and I hope everyone has a great summer of riding mountain bikes!

The 2023 Albion Weekly Race Series has officially ended, a big thanks to everyone who attended the awards last night, and congratulations to all the folks whom received recognition. It was a lot of fun seeing people in regular clothes and not team kits! I hope to see everyone next season again, and once again thank you our amazing supporter Caledon Hills Brewery. As I said last night, if it weren’t for you and the beer you gifted us week to week as draw prizes - half the guys who participated this season likely wouldn’t have showed up!

Join us Wednesday night at 6pm for the Albion Weekly Race Series awards celebration and social. Tip a glass to a great race season and an even better sponsor - Caledon Hills Brewery. The good times begin at 6pm sharp at the brewery itself (17219 Hwy 50 in Palgrave).
Awards and draw prizes will begin around 6:30pm, family and friends welcome! Hope to see you there!

What’s better that a cold beer after racing in the heat? Two cold beers! For our last race of the season, we will have double the delicious draw prizes! Join us tonight for the final race at Albion Hills, 7:00pm start.

As predicted, the course is mint and the water gone! Nice and cool out, should be a great nice for riding!

Race Update: August 23rds race is a GO!
The rain has stopped enough that us riding the trails shouldn’t do any harm!

We will start from the Elmview start (24hr Solo Pit area). The trails dry quickly in this area!

It’s wet right now but the rain will be stopping for this afternoon! We will monitor the trails and will determine if the race is a go by 3:00pm today. The good news is that the north side of Albion has a lot of sand and will often dry quickly! Stay tuned…
If you haven’t already, please join the Albion Weekly Race Series Facebook group that was created last week. I will share pictures from the series and other updates as well.

Sorry for the delay, there were a few system glitches but results have been posted. See link in bio for results. With only 3 more weeks of racing, there is a few heated battles going on for top spot! Looking forward to seeing the outcome. Season wraps up on September 6th, we are looking to host a fun gathering / awards night on the 13th of September. More details to follow. Another great night in the books! Albion Weekly Race Series is heating up with some new youth racers in attendance! Who will take the crown this season? With only five races left for the season anything is possible! Remember, the final race will see us climbing the coveted Green Monster - a tradition as old as the race series itself!
