Today, the Caledonia Minor Hockey stands together to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We are proud of our Indigenous players, families and supporters who are an important part of our Thunder community. Today, we remember the children who never made it home, honour Survivors, and continue to learn about the importance of reconciliation.

Important equipment safety reminders as the season kicks off!

On-ice officials will be enforcing Hockey Canada rules with the ability to call penalties related to the use of illegal equipment, which address both not wearing the piece of equipment and not wearing it properly: https://www.omha.net/news_article/show/1318377

The 'AA' category appeal meeting with the OMHA was held Friday, September 11, 2026.

The result is....

We will transition to 'AA' in 2 stages:

2027-2028 season only U14 and below will be 'AA' level.
2028-2029 season the rest will follow.
All second entry teams will remain as 'B' level.

There are no changes to the current 2026-2027 season.
