My approach to yoga is less about pushing and more about presence.

I want people to leave class feeling more connected, not more depleted.

My teaching is rooted in breath, awareness, and meeting yourself where you are. There is space for strength, but also softness. Space to build heat, but also space to listen. Space to move, breathe, pause, and come back to yourself.

Yoga does not need to be about forcing, fixing, or performing. It can be a practice of noticing, softening, strengthening, and reconnecting.

This is the energy I want my classes to hold.

Come as you are. Move how you need. Meet yourself with kindness.

The full moon is a beautiful time to pause, reflect, and release.

It invites us to slow down and notice what has been coming to the surface. Maybe it is an old pattern, a heavy emotion, an expectation, or a version of yourself that no longer feels aligned.

A full moon ritual does not have to be complicated. It can be as simple as lighting a candle, rolling out your mat, journaling for a few minutes, holding a crystal, or placing your hands over your heart and taking a few deep breaths.

Ask yourself:

What am I ready to release?

What feels complete?

What am I no longer available for?

What am I ready to make space for?

Release does not have to be forceful. Sometimes it is just a soft exhale. A quiet moment of honesty. A gentle return to yourself.

My newest blog, Full Moon Rituals for Release, Reflection, and Renewal, is now up on the blog.

The sacral chakra is connected to creativity, emotional flow, softness, pleasure, and our ability to move with life instead of forcing our way through it.

While the root chakra helps us feel grounded and safe, the sacral chakra invites us to soften.

To feel.

To create.

To reconnect with the body in a gentle and compassionate way.

A sacral chakra practice does not have to be complicated. It can look like slow hip-opening postures, breathing into the lower belly, journaling honestly, placing a crystal near your mat, or simply giving yourself permission to pause and listen.

This energy centre reminds us that we are not meant to live in a constant state of holding, bracing, or pushing through.

We are allowed to soften. We are allowed to feel. We are allowed to receive. We are allowed to flow.

In my newest blog post, I’m sharing gentle sacral chakra practices for creativity, emotional flow, and softening through yoga, breathwork, crystals, journaling, and simple rituals.

The third eye chakra is connected to intuition, inner wisdom, clarity, imagination, and learning to trust yourself.

To me, this chakra is not about forcing answers, trying to see the future, or becoming more “spiritual.” It is about creating enough quiet within yourself to hear what has been there all along.

Sometimes intuition feels like a clear knowing.

Sometimes it feels like a gentle yes.

A soft no.

A feeling in the body.

A quiet pull in a certain direction.

A pause before making a decision.

It is not always loud. It does not always arrive as a big message. Most of the time, intuition is subtle. It asks us to slow down, soften the noise around us, and listen inward with compassion.

When life feels busy, overwhelming, or full of outside opinions, it can become harder to hear that inner voice. We may start second guessing ourselves, overthinking every choice, or looking outside of ourselves for answers we already feel within.

This is where practices like yoga, meditation, Reiki, journaling, crystals, and quiet reflection can be so supportive.

They give us space to pause.

Space to breathe.

Space to reconnect with the body.

Space to notice what is true for us.

The third eye chakra reminds us that wisdom is not always found by doing more, searching more, or thinking harder. Sometimes clarity comes when we finally become still enough to listen.

Your intuition does not need to shout to be valid.

Sometimes it whispers.

Sometimes it arrives as a sensation.

Sometimes it simply asks you to trust yourself one small step at a time.

In my newest blog post, I share more about the third eye chakra, intuition, self-trust, and simple practices to support inner connection.

☀️ Summer Solstice Energy ☀️

The summer solstice marks the longest day of the year and the official beginning of summer. It is a time when the sun is at its highest point, offering us the most light we will receive all year.

Spiritually, the summer solstice is a beautiful time to pause, reflect, and honour the light within and around us. It invites us to celebrate growth, energy, abundance, expansion, and everything that has been slowly blooming within us.

In yoga, the sun is connected to vitality, warmth, strength, and transformation. This is why many yoga communities honour the solstice with 108 Sun Salutations.

The number 108 is considered sacred in yoga tradition. It is often seen as a number of wholeness, connection, and spiritual completion. Moving through 108 Sun Salutations becomes more than just a physical practice. It becomes a moving meditation.

Breath by breath.
Round by round.
We meet ourselves exactly where we are.

Some rounds may feel strong.
Some may feel slow.
Some may be modified.

Some may simply be a pause.

And that is the practice.
The summer solstice reminds us that we do not need to chase the light. We can honour the light that already lives within us.

☀️ What are you ready to celebrate, release, or call in this season?

How to Use Crystals in Your Yoga or Meditation Practice

Crystals can be such a beautiful way to bring intention, ritual, and grounding into your yoga or meditation practice.

You do not need a huge collection.
You do not need to know every crystal meaning.
You do not need to make it complicated.

Sometimes one crystal, one breath, and one honest intention is enough.

You can place a crystal near the top of your mat as a reminder of what you are calling in.

You can hold one during meditation to help anchor your awareness when the mind feels busy.

You can create a small altar with a candle, journal, flower, or oracle card to make your practice feel more sacred and supportive.

You can use crystals in savasana as a gentle reminder to soften, receive, and let yourself rest.

You can also cleanse and charge your crystals with intention. Cleansing helps clear the energy of the crystal, while charging helps fill it with the energy you want it to hold.

Some simple ways to cleanse your crystals include sage or palo santo smoke, Reiki energy, or water when the stone is safe in water.

Some simple ways to charge your crystals include moonlight, sunlight if the stone is sun-safe, or Reiki energy.

For me, crystals are not about doing something perfectly. They are about creating a moment of connection.

A pause.
A breath.
A reminder to come back to yourself.

Your crystal can become an anchor for your practice. Something you see, hold, or place nearby to remind you of your intention.

Maybe today your intention is grounding.
Maybe it is softness.
Maybe it is protection.
Maybe it is clarity.
Maybe it is simply, “I am here.”

In this blog, I share gentle ways to bring crystals into your yoga or meditation practice, including how to use them near your mat, during meditation, in savasana, on an altar, and how to cleanse and charge them with care.

Your practice can be a place to move, breathe, release, receive, and reconnect with yourself.

Root Chakra Practices for Feeling Grounded and Safe ❤️

When life feels busy, uncertain, or overwhelming, grounding practices can help bring us back into the body and back into the present moment.

The root chakra is connected to our sense of safety, stability, belonging, and support. When we work with this energy gently, we can begin to feel more anchored, steady, and connected to ourselves.

In my newest blog, I’m sharing simple root chakra practices you can bring into your day, including:

Yoga poses for grounding
Breathwork to calm the body
Crystals for support and intention
Journaling prompts for reflection
Daily rituals to feel more rooted

Grounding does not have to be complicated. Sometimes it is as simple as taking a slow breath, feeling your feet on the floor, making a warm cup of tea, or reminding yourself, “I am safe in this moment.”

Yoga is so much more than the physical shapes we move through on the mat.

It is breath.
It is awareness.
It is energy.
It is learning how to listen to the subtle messages of the body.

In this new blog post, I’m sharing a soft introduction to the energy body in yoga, including chakras, prana, breath, and awareness. Nothing overwhelming, nothing complicated. Just a gentle way to begin understanding how yoga can support you on a deeper level.

The chakras can offer us a beautiful map for self-awareness. They invite us to notice where we feel grounded, open, blocked, expressive, intuitive, or connected.

And the breath helps us come back to ourselves, one inhale and one exhale at a time.

You do not need to understand it all at once.
You can begin simply by noticing.
