Black Belt Bae’s Taekwondo × Korea Nazarene University

We are proud to announce that Black Belt Bae’s Taekwondo has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Taekwondo at Korea Nazarene University.

This partnership marks an important step toward strengthening global Taekwondo education and developing future Taekwondo leaders. Through this collaboration, we will create greater opportunities for students of Korea Nazarene University to pursue coaching, professional development, and career pathways in Canada.

At Black Belt Bae’s Taekwondo, we remain committed to building meaningful bridges between Korea and Canada while helping the next generation of Taekwondo professionals expand their opportunities on the international stage.

As part of this special occasion, Professor Choong-Young Lee presented Black Belt Bae’s Taekwondo with a Certificate of Appreciation, recognizing our efforts to promote Korean Taekwondo and create opportunities for future generations.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Professor Choong-Young Lee for his trust, encouragement, and unwavering support in making this partnership possible. His dedication to his students and his vision for the future of Taekwondo have been truly inspiring, and we are honored to begin this journey together.

🇰🇷 Black Belt Bae’s Taekwondo × Kukkiwon

Earlier this year, Black Belt Bae’s Taekwondo had the honor of visiting Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters, for a meaningful and inspiring meeting.

This visit held special significance for Master Bae, as President Woong-Seok Yoon of Kukkiwon was Master Bae’s mentor during his high school years as a Taekwondo athlete.

As time has passed, the relationship has grown beyond that of mentor and student. During this meeting, we had the opportunity to discuss a shared vision for the future of Taekwondo and explore ways that Kukkiwon and Black Belt Bae’s Taekwondo can work together to continue promoting and developing Taekwondo around the world.

We are also excited to announce that we have agreed to move forward with plans for a meaningful new collaboration beginning in 2027.

Black Belt Bae’s Taekwondo remains committed to preserving the values and traditions of Taekwondo while providing the highest standard of education for future generations.

We look forward to sharing this exciting new chapter with you in 2027.
