Hello, everyone! It's time for a quick reintroduction to yours truly.
I am Coach Kenny J, also known as Kendal, a certified personal trainer and an online fitness and nutrition coach. My passion for physical activity began with playing various sports, but approximately 12-13 years ago, I discovered my true calling in the gym. Since then, I have dedicated myself to helping others achieve their fitness goals.
Throughout my own journey, I encountered the same challenges that many individuals face in finding a balance between their mind, body, and relationship with food. I have struggled with both being overweight and underweight, providing me with a deeper level of empathy for women who may be experiencing similar issues.
I have tried countless fad diets, and none have provided me with sustainable results. However, I have overcome eating disorders, and my mission is to help other women achieve food freedom, balance, and a love for movement.
My approach is centered around building realistic habits that can be maintained for the long term. I enjoy working with women who are ready for a change and want to achieve lasting results.
In addition to my passion for fitness, I also possess a playful and humorous personality. I love a good dad joke and believe that my quirky nature can help make the journey towards a healthy lifestyle more enjoyable.

Hi, Let me reintroduce myself. 👋 I am Coach Kendal
I wanted to take a moment to welcome the new people to my page and for all the support. I appreciate you all ❤️
I wanted to share a few fun facts about me to help get to know me better
1. I am a certified personal trainer and an online fitness and nutrition coach.
2. I have been a coach with .help.women.get.fit.inc for almost 3 years
3. I have always had a love of being active and grew up playing hockey and ringette 🏒
4. I have 4 cats (yes , 4 cats) 🐈⬛️🐈🐈⬛️🐈
5. When I was little, I danced and always wanted to try ballet. I lasted one day because they made me wear a tutu 🤣🩰
6. I was born and raised in Calgary and lived in the same⁹ quadrant my whole life until last year when I moved to Airdrie.
7. I have a massive love for anything outdoors, especially camping⛺️🏕
8. I loooove long walks and will pretty much walk anywhere (people around me hate it because i think anything less than an hour away is walking distance 🤣🚶♀️)
9. I love having dance parties and dancing on tables ( I like to see how many tables/chairs I can dance on in public... I have yet to be kicked out)
10. I am the messiest/cleanist person you will meet - I can eat a banana and find crumbs everywhere, BUT I have a massive love for cleaning.

Long weekends and holiday dinners are the best but sometimes they don't go as planned....and you may have over indulged. 🤷♀️
THAT IS OKAY!!!
You should not beat yourself up about enjoying these moments...if we can't enjoy ourselves...what are we doing?
If you over indulged, do not beat yourself up. All you have to do is get back on track. Jump back into your normal routine, drink lots of water, and get some movement in. Everything will be okay, I promise.

Eating a balanced diet is so important for many reasons and I think the benefits of a well-balanced meal can be overlooked.
Want to feel better?
Look at what you are eating, and how you are building your meals.
In my experience, many people focus on what they can remove from their plate but should be focusing on what they can add to make it more balanced.
Add more nutrients to your plate, and watch how much better you feel 😊

There are so many things I wish I knew when I first started my fitness and health journey but here are 7 of them...
And even though I wish I knew these I wouldn't go back and change anything.
Part of a fitness journey is Trial and Error and finding out what works for you.
This has helped me be the Coach that I am today because I get it.
I've been there.
I have been where you are, and I understand the struggles.
But I found a better way.
-A way that isn't restrictive
-A way that adds value to your life
-A way that helps unleash the inner badass
-A way that will stick with you for life...
I get to help people avoid these mistakes or trials in their journey.

Feeling overwhelmed by the responsibilities and obligations that come with life? Know you need a change, but don't know where to start?
