Whether you're looking for your next ride or clearing out bikes from the garage, the YYC Community Bike Swap is the perfect place to buy, sell, trade, or donate bikes.

Use the consignment option and let the team handle the sale.

My First Bike YYC is a free community event dedicated to helping kids get their very first bicycle. We’ll be giving away smaller bikes perfect for first-time riders: 12-inch bikes, 14-inch bikes, and 16-inch bikes. These bikes are ideal for kids just starting their cycling journey. No registration required. This is a first-come, first-served event. May 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Bathtub Bikes, 3307 17 Ave SE.

These bikes have been donated by people from all around Calgary and tuned up by youth students and volunteers from Bathtub Bikes and Bike Hub, so every bike is ready for a new young rider. This is a great way to start your child's bike journey, and when our kids outgrow their first bike, families can trade up through our Youth En Route “Kids bike trade up” program.

If you’d like to support programs like this, we gladly accept donations of used bikes of any size. You can also contribute to our “Pedal It Forward” program, helping provide access to affordable bike parts and repairs for all. Let’s help more kids experience the joy of their first ride! Membership is required. To keep the shop accessible, it’s just $20 per year. If you can pay more, we encourage you to make a tax-receipted donation to Youth en Route to help support the Bike Hub’s operation.

Don’t want to do the work yourself? Bathtub Bikes operates a full service repair service, including all mobility aids, out of the 65th Ave location.

Pedal It Forward
You know how there are coffee shops that allow people to buy a coffee for a future customer who can’t afford it? We’re doing that with bike parts.
Bathtub Bikes will take credit that can be posted on our board. It might be a tube, or a chain for a youth who wants to bike to school, or a walker repair for a senior.
Let’s build a community of people who care for others.
