Join us November 6th! Every lift, every pattern, every underwater count depends on the swimmer next to you. Sixty years of Aquabelles learned to trust their team — and took it into careers, families and friendships that still last.

Part of her story was written in our pool. 🥈

As a young swimmer, Jaime Czarkowski began training with the Calgary Aquabelles at age 11. Those were years of early practices, endless eight-counts and learning to trust her team. She went on to train in Los Angeles, and at Paris 2024 she won Olympic silver in the team event with Team USA, their first artistic swimming medal in 20 years.
On November 6, she’s coming back. 🤍

Today we’re thankful for our families, volunteers, coaches, specialists, and office staff, who always go above and beyond for each other. Your commitment to building a community that welcomes everyone, every single day, is what makes this club special.

We’re grateful for a club that is committed to nurturing athletes and keeping them in sport, supporting development opportunities for coaches, and building a safe place for people to join.

That face when you find out you just won. 🤩
2024 was one for the record books: Club of the Year, 3 national gold medals for our
Juniors (Technical Team, Free Team and Free Duet), plus silver and bronze in Solo. And an
Aquabelle won silver at the Paris Olympics.
Moments like this didn’t start in 2024. They started 60 years ago, with every swimmer,
coach, parent and volunteer who came before. If you were ever part of this club, this
celebration is yours too.

For years, the Aquabelles community has taken part in Run for the Cure, an event that brings hope to Canadians impacted ...

For years, the Aquabelles community has taken part in Run for the Cure, an event that brings hope to Canadians impacted by breast cancer. Funds raised support research, support services and advocacy.

This year, Canadians across the country came together and raised $18 million. Online donations are still open until December 31st through the Canadian Cancer Society website.

Our community wasn’t able to join the run this year, but we still wanted to show our support. Our coaches wore handmade T-shirts and our athletes wore their pink suits to help spread awareness.

Why do Canadians run? To fund groundbreaking research, shape health policy, and build a national support system so no one facing cancer has to cope alone. 💗

That’s Sharon Hambrook and Kelly Kryczka Irwin in 1984, the year they won duet silver in Los Angeles. Every one of the seventeen have been a part of this club - that’s been here sixty years.
