We are excited to offer the Grizzlies Sunday Morning Race Series at the Olympic Oval at the University of Calgary in Calgary this fall. These unsanctioned long-track mini meets will give developing skaters additional racing opportunities and help them become more comfortable with Olympic-style racing.
The series is intended primarily for skaters aged 9–13 who want more long-track race experience. By signing up, each skater will participate in two 500m Olympic Style races (one inner/one outer). Skaters can sign up for 1, 2 or 3 Sundays in the series.
Dates:
Sunday, October 4, 8:00AM–10:30AM.
Sunday, November 15, 8:00AM–10:30AM.
Sunday, December 6, 8:00AM–10:30AM.
Registration:
Links in the bio.
Registration closes the Tuesday before each race day so that organizers have time to prepare the racing pairs.
Cost: $20 per skater, per competition. Families may register for one, two, or all three race days.
See you at the races!!
