This kid….
From his first little comps at COP when he was in “jumps and bumps” to representing Canada at the World Juniors. This sport is such a different style than I have experienced. The focus,resilience and perseverance these kids have to have is admirable. From living on the road, juggling school, adjust mid air to the elements, managing injuries, standing atop a hill ready for mere seconds of a performance with no room for error and a judging panel ready to dictate your next step. 🤮
The mental game is real. The pressures they put on themselves are real. I am in awe.
I wish for every kid to have their day-have their “win” whatever that looks like. I wish for all of them to see how the “others” see them. There’s not many who could endure the ups and downs this sport delivers and for that reason alone-I feel they are some of the toughest athletes out there.

Keep on keeping on….you are all so wicked. 💪
