Apply today for the 2026 CWSA scholarship!

Three scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded to eligible CWSA players or Referees.

The deadline to apply is 11:59 PM MST on September 15, 2026.

The Calgary Women’s Soccer Association scholarship was created in 2010 to recognize the accomplishments of its members. Three scholarships of $1,000 are awarded each year and the money is funded through the members of the Calgary Women’s Soccer Association.

This weekend, the CWSA will be well represented at the Alberta Soccer Senior Provincial Championships.

We will have 9 teams competing for top spot in the province in their respective divisions.

The Premier, Tier 1 and Tier 2 competitions will take place in Calgary at the Calgary Soccer Centre

The Tier 3 and Classics Major competitions will be in Edmonton at the Bill Gilhespy Soccer Complex.

The Alberta Major Soccer provincials competition was held on August 15-16 in Edmonton. Calgary was representted by Calgary Blizzard WSC who finished in 3rd place.

If you're in town this weekend, be sure to head down to the Calgary Soccer Centre to cheer on your local teams. Schedules can be found at provincials.albertasoccer.com

⚽️ Team registration is open for the Indoor 2026-27 season. ⚽️

Play 7v7, Boarded or both this winter! New teams are welcome.

One winner will be selected from all eligible entries and contacted on August 13.

Looking to get your team ready before indoor? Check out the CWSA Kickstart Pre-Season Tournament! Registration opens August 11 and offers teams a chance to get back on the field before the season begins.

The deadline to register is September 10.

The tournament will offer two programs — Boarded and 7v7 — with Competitive, Intermediate, and Recreational levels available. Teams are guaranteed four games, spread out over two weeks across five game nights:

October 14, 16, 18, 20 & 22
