Helping Women 35+ reconnect to themselves after burnout, motherhood completion & self-abandonment. Ayurvedic Wisdom•
Embodiment•Radical Self Leadership
I used to think I was falling behind or maybe not keeping up with appearances or even my big lofty goals I had set for myself.
I’d watch other women building careers, growing businesses, raising families, and somehow still finding the energy to keep going.
Meanwhile, I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and wondering why everything felt so much harder for me. I wore a mask constantly.
For years, I ignored what my body was asking of me. I couldn’t identify with exhaustion, convinced myself everyone else came first, and believed I’d get back to myself when life settled down.
It never did.
Instead, I reached for the things that helped me get through the day. Wine. Food. TV. Other peoples misery. Anything that gave me a little distance from what I didn’t want to feel.
At the time, I thought those were my problem.
They weren’t.
They were how I survived the life I was living.
Being busy is tiring. Living disconnected from yourself is exhausting.
Then life brought me to a complete stop.
My injury took away my ability to keep pushing. The distractions didn’t work the way they used to. There was nowhere left to run, and for the first time, I had to face the woman I’d been abandoning for years.
That’s when Ayurveda entered my life.
Not as another wellness trend or something else to master. It gave me a way to understand what my body had been trying to tell me all along. Instead of forcing it to keep up, I started learning how to support it.
I stopped looking for the next thing to fix me.
I started rebuilding from the basics. Daily rhythm. Nourishing food. Rest. Breath. Presence. Calm. Rhythmic living. I looked at the moon and noticed the seasons.
It changed the direction of my life.
Looking back, I don’t think I was falling behind.
I think my life was asking me to stop running long enough to finally come home to myself.
I’m curious...
Have you ever looked back at a season you thought was breaking you, only to realize it was asking something different of you?
Tell me what part of this resonates with you. I’d love to hear your story.

✈️ Traveling soon? If you have a Vata constitution—or tend to feel anxious, scattered, or depleted after flying—air travel can easily aggravate Vata. The movement, dry cabin air, changing time zones, and disrupted routines all increase the qualities associated with Vata. AIR and EITHER
Try these three simple ways to stay grounded while you travel:
✨ 1. Stay hydrated. Sip warm water or herbal tea throughout your journey to help counter the dryness of air travel.
🥜 2. Eat nourishing foods. Choose warm, cooked meals or wholesome snacks instead of skipping meals or relying on processed foods. Healthy fats like nuts or avocado can also be supportive.
🧘 3. Create moments of calm. Practice slow, deep breathing, listen to soothing music, or take a few minutes to meditate before or during your flight to help settle your nervous system.
A little preparation can make your travels feel much more balanced and enjoyable. Safe travels! 🌿✈️
I am a householder. I am a mom, wife, friend, creator, space holder and more!
I AM hungry and running wild.
This is not my blissful Ayurvedic day.
But if you want to learn about basic Ayurveda tools to support you when you are unraveling-DM me!
Messages from the dirt.
Honestly I’ve been wasting piles of time making pretty posts with all the things, and being completely distracted by what this grid looks like.
This is not me.
I’m a wild child, fresh air girl, not super fashionable and for sure with aging skin with flaws and patterns I’d like to see gone! Today-covered in dirt, working with my hands in the garden, 🪴 I’m happy.
Spread thin. Getting more and more irritated with the humans in my life-and forgetting to tend to the things I love.
Duh! Should know better but these things happen.
The difference is I know to check in with myself quicker than I did a few years ago.
That is a gift. A gift to me and those around me-as I tend to throw daggers if I forget to tend to myself.
We don’t have to live in this cycle of happy, overdoing, anger, crash & repeat.
If this sounds anything like you-tell me how you remind yourself that you need to come first. Any tips are welcome 🙏

This is a simple goal for me these days.
Was I kind-to the best of my ability?
Was I present-to the best of my ability?
Did I help another?
Did I listen without judgment?
Was I kind to myself?
Did I treat my body better than I did the day before?
Oh the list can go on…
I lay my head down and thank the heavens for the day I was granted and promise I will learn from the day before.
I am not a lofty girl. Just a real woman doing the work to be the best version of myself over and over.

Your body has been talking to you for years.
Not through words, but through signals.
✨ Cold hands and feet that never seem to warm up.
✨ The 3pm energy crash you’ve come to expect.
✨ Waking between 2 and 4am, exhausted but unable to stay asleep.
Most women brush these off as stress, hormones, or simply getting older.
Ayurveda invites us to see them differently.
They’re not random. They’re clues that your body is asking for more warmth, more rhythm, more support, and more attention to the way you’re living each day.
When you understand what those signals are pointing toward, everything begins to make more sense.
You stop fighting your body and start working with it.
That’s where steady energy, better sleep, and a greater sense of vitality begin.
This isn’t about chasing another wellness trend. It’s about learning the language of your own body.
That’s exactly what we do inside Midlife Ayurvedic Activation.
Comment ENERGY and I’ll send you the full breakdown of these three Ayurvedic body signals—and how we use them to build your personalized vitality roadmap over eight weeks.
The fatigue you’re treating with coffee and vitamins is actually an imbalanced dosha.
Everyone says it’s perimenopause, stress, or just getting older.
So we double down on caffeine, B12 shots, and pushing through.
But what if the exhaustion isn’t something to override?
What if it’s your body trying to tell you that your constitution is out of balance, and you’ve been ignoring the language?
In ayurveda, we don’t treat symptoms. We look at who you are at your core, what your natural state is, and where you’ve drifted.
That bone-deep tiredness? It’s usually vata aggravation. The kind of fatigue that comes from years of overriding your intuition, moving too fast, not landing in your body.
Or it’s pitta burnout. The woman who’s been producing, achieving, managing everyone’s emotions and forgot to tend to her own fire.
Or it’s kapha stagnation. The numbness that settles in when you’ve disconnected from what lights you up and started going through the motions.
The truth most midlife women don’t hear is this: your fatigue has a root cause, and it’s not laziness or aging.
It’s imbalance. And imbalance has a remedy.
It starts with understanding your constitution, not borrowing someone else’s morning routine
