For more than 30 years, Apollo Curling has been creating a fun, welcoming, and inclusive curling community in Calgary. Since 1991, the league has called North Hill home, bringing together curlers of all experience levels through league play, Learn to Curl programs, monthly social events, and the ever-growing Western Cup bonspiel.

The North Hill Curling Club is now hiring an Assistant Ice Technician!

If you take pride in your work, enjoy being part of a team, and want to help create an exceptional curling experience for our members and guests, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the ins and outs of ice maintenance while working in one of Calgary's most active curling clubs. Previous experience is an asset, but training will be provided to the successful candidate.

📅 Position Details:
• 20–30 hours per week
• Primarily evenings and weekends
• Additional hours available based on operational needs

Whether you're an experienced club operator or someone looking to develop new skills in a unique environment, this could be the perfect fit.

Registration for the 2026–2027 North Hill Curling Club Junior Program is now open, and we're excited to welcome new and returning juniors to the ice!

Our Friday evening program is designed for curlers ages 7–18, whether you're picking up a broom for the very first time or looking to continue building your skills and love for the game.

🏒 Program Details:
🗓️ Fridays during the curling season
🕟 Starting at 4:30 p.m.
👧 Ages 7–18
🥌 Little Rock & Regular Rock programs

New curlers receive hands-on instruction from our experienced coaching team, while more experienced athletes continue to develop their skills through coaching, practice, and game play throughout the season.

The 5th Annual Bill Stirling Memorial Golf Tournament brought together an incredible group of golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters for a day filled with great shots, great laughs, and even greater community spirit.
