Better result than last week , still a loss , but progress made for the High River Heat . The final was 7 to 4 Bandits at the Stu tonight.

Opening game for the 2023 season for the High River Heat ,Friday night. Good sized crowd , Lots of new players , graduation ceremonies and game . Tough loss for the home team , against a skilled Cranbrook team , but ya gotta start somewhere . Go Heat Go.

High River Heat Juniors season opener tonight at the Snodgrass Arena. Ball drop is at 8pm. The opponent is the defending champs from Cranbrook( the hush puppies). Opening ceremonies have the Heat graduated players getting their jerseys. Go Heat Go.

Interesting game on the week end . Necks got hammered by the Seals 14 to 8 . SD ended up a plus 6 on the special teams …scored a couple of shorties . Reminded me of a couple of High River jr. teams that would score at will on the pk. Made the other teams want to decline penalties and gave us the green light to play as rough as we wanted.
