Fun session with Florian which we worked on some isometric holds before leaping into some new acrobatic moves. He did really great often nailing it first try ππ€

This is my dance.. the way that I move with the abstract and into flow.. tapping into my bodies intelligence by being present and playful.. it's not important if it looks cool.. I just try to do something that is honest and interesting for me..
There is a mystery waiting to be solved that only you can see or feel.. your present awareness solves it

Growing up I was obsessed with the VHS tape I had of the Shoalin Monks who performed at Royal Albert Hall. Later as a teen a monk came to my city and I got to train with him and was one of the most impactful teachers I had in that time! I learnt splits, I won black belt sparring comp and even got my first professional performance as a fighter in Ian Brown - Sister Rose music video!
So if you see me playing around with Kung Fu moves.. that's why! I love this fluidity and power π€
Bring it on winter βοΈ
This time last year my back was the worst I ever felt it.. I had a few drinks and decided to try and lift the biggest guy in a squat π
But my back has taken lots of abuse over the years performing acrobatics.. I'm late thirties and it was time to get smart about things!! I'm still crazy as ever but one of the big levers has been opening up and strengthening my hips!
