As many know, there have been website issues in years past because people are so excited to enter SDCCS and we know this year will be no exception! To help everyone out, please check out our these tips:

⭐️ Entries will go live March 15, 2023 at 1pm Eastern Time. No earlier.
⭐️ The link will be posted on http://scotdance.ca/sdccs/ just before entries open.
⭐️ The more you refresh your browser, the heavier the load on the system - don't do it!
⭐️ Have all dancer and payment information ready as per the list in the Official Entry Form
⭐️ Be patient! Each time you refresh your browser, it is like adding another user to the line-up causing slow downs and people being "kicked out."

Due to the high volume of entries received within the first few hours on opening registration day, we ask for your patience and cooperation during this time. Should you have any questions/concerns, these should be directed to [email protected] and not posted on social media.

Our Chinook weekend is next weekend and we are still in need of several volunteers. Please consider signing up for a shift. Many hands make light work!

Registration for our Chinook Open Championship on March 18th and Open Competition on March 19, 2023 is still open! Registration closes this Friday, March 3rd at 10:00PM! No late entries will be accepted.

A winter driving message from our Competition Chair...

With the winter storm coming down today I put through a call to the Bearspaw Christian School to ask about the best access to the school. I was concerned as there is a steep hill on the west side of the school on 144th Avenue.

The receptionist at the school indicated that 90% of the time that particular hill is fine but, if the snow keeps falling the route she recommends is taking Stoney Trail to Sarcee Trail. Head north on Sarcee Trail to 144th Avenue. This route is not as hilly.

I have attached a Google maps pic -- the dark blue suggested route is the recommended way to access BCS on a snowy weekend.

For anyone wanting to book a room at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel, the cut off date to book a room is January 3 🗓 After this date, any remaining rooms will be released into the public.

On January 3, the hotel will begin processing the one night (non-refundable) deposit on each reservation. Receipts will be forwarded to all guests💰
