The countdown to a new season is on!

Before you hit the ice, make sure your skates are ready too. Sharp blades are key to better control, confidence, and performance, whether you're heading to your first practice or preparing for competition.

Need a refresher on sharpening your speed skates? Check out this helpful tutorial before the season gets underway.

A handful of our skaters are at the Summit Kids/Performance Camp this week Olympic Oval at the University of Calgary. They’ll get lots of on ice practice on both LT and ST disciplines. The camp also offers nutritional talks, mental performance training and chats with national team members (even a few Olympic gold medalists!). The week ends with a sanctioned meet on Saturday (check out YouTube!)
