Bow Valley Hockey Society was established in 1987 and today consists of over 800 members. Communities that make up BVHS are: Auburn Bay, Cranston, Douglasdale Estates, Mahogony, McKenzie Lake, Seton.

Can’t think of a better way to burn off all that turkey 🦃

Following the long weekend the U9 3 Red crew cleaned up outside Great Plains arena tonight! The entire team, coaches and parents helped out!

It’s truly incredible to see our young Flames run with this initiative and continue to give back to the community.

Coach and Manager Appreciation Night ❤️

To the last volunteers standing—and everyone who joined us—thank you for showing up!

After six weeks of gruelling evaluations, countless emails, late nights, early mornings, and balancing work and family, we know everyone is feeling depleted. Giving even more of your time to come together means so much. 🙏

Last night was a chance to share a laugh, release some tension, and connect beyond the rink. It was also a chance to celebrate the coaches, managers, and volunteers who give so much to our players and families.

That’s what community is all about: showing up for one another and appreciating the people who make it all happen.

You are the heartbeat of our association. We see you, we value you, and we are deeply grateful for everything you do 🔥

Big thank you goes out to our Director of Facilities & Community Engagement, Natalia Peso & Director of Coaching & Development, Chris Jaworsky, for all your dedication to seeing this night come to be - we look forward to the next one!

We made sure they were full warm hot chocolate and delicious treats to keep them going.

It was a cold first snow day but nothing was stopping the U7 Jr Senators from showing up and giving back to the community!

When you pull up to our home rink, Trico next time you might notice it looks that much better and you can thank the Jr Senators for their hard work!

The players had a blast and we are so proud of them!

U9 2 Red spent the day playing field hockey, biking, playing soccer, having fun at the park and finished off the BEST day ever with some community engagement, cleaning up around the neighbourhood!

Guess what? The cleanup ended up being their favourite part! Each player put so much hard work, energy, and enthusiasm into giving back. They walked away feeling incredibly proud—and they should be! We couldn’t be more proud of them.

What an amazing day of bonding, teamwork and giving back to our community. Great work U9 2 Red 🔥

Community Engagement has began. Our U7 & U9 teams have hit the neighbourhoods.

U7 Jr. Leafs went out into the community of Auburn Bay to do some garbage pickup. They received honks from passing vehicles, tons of litter, and the kids had a blast. Thank you Auburn Bay for cheering them on!

This is what it’s all about - Team bonding, having fun, making memories and learning about the importance of giving back ❤️
