I rarely take photos of clownfish but in Moalboal, there weren't that many other small-angle to macro subjects to shoot. This photo is uncropped. (Moalboal, Cebu, Philippines, 2024 02 22.)

I have the same feeling about whale shark feeding, even the traditional feeding by Indonesian fishermen from their bagans, as I do about zoos. On the plus side, in Cenderawasih Bay (West Papua, Indonesia), the tradition is decades old and has facilitated whale shark research that might be otherwise very difficult if not impossible. While I was curious to see how it's done at Lila, it's not something I would repeat. I heard from divers who did the trip from Magic Island Dive Resort to Oslob (for whale sharks), it's much worse than Lila.
