Teaching you to move with excellence and pain free

01/13/2024

Here's one of my OG clients hitting his PR @ 600lbs

David started with me almost 5yrs ago with knee pain, low back pain. After going through a proper mobility and strength program David is back lifting heavier than ever without pain.

This is proof with proper skills through strength and rehab training we can get back to where we want and better.

Been out for more then a year because of an elbow injury. Wasn't able to straighten my arm past 150° or bend it past 90°

I was only able to do light weights and machine without irritating my elbow. So I decided to work on lots of functional strength and mobility.

Without lifting my max in over a year. I was able to pull 375lb without any problems. Strength is a skill, not talent. You need to teach your body how to get strong not only by only lifting heavy but by teaching the concept of strength and the technical side.

If you're looking to feel stronger day to day, then DM me!

Let's talk about the pigeon stretch or figure 4.

When coaching mobility and movement I always try to incorporate good position.

When I see people do this stretch they are in compromised position with there back and they wonder why there back hurts when the lift.

Miyamoto Musashi once said "In all forms of strategy, it is necessary to maintain the combat stance in everyday life and to make your everyday stance your combat stance"

We must practice good position everywhere!

Who works on breathing under load? 295lb Farmer's Walk 🏋️

Fastest way to lose output in energy is holding your breath! This is different than bracing by the way.

How is bracing different than holding your breath? Bracing I describe as squeezing your bladder, you don't run to the bathroom holding your breath and let your face turn purple! You brace your core and breath then run to the bathroom.

Learning this will help you lift heavier while being more comfortable under tension.

If you want to learn more about breathing DM me "Breath" and I'll have a 30min 1on1 online sessions with you about breathing!

💥Let's push the pain away.💥

Working on after he tore his bicep this past summer.

‼️Injury prevention‼️ is what needs to be talked about more. As we get older we realize longevity is the game.

Ask yourself what to you want to be able to do 30yrs from now. Will your body be able to do it?

Will you have the same answer as everyone else? I'm to old to run. lifting hurts my joints. I need to take it easy as I get older

🔥Follow me every Tuesday I'll be going posting a new video on injury prevention, treatments to do at home and proper strength training.🔥🔥🔥

Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall. Don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.
