We are spending our Wednesday out at Montgomery Glen Golf & Country Club for tour stop #10.
TIP OF THE DAY
It's important to have a pre-shot routine before every shot and here's some things you can add to yours to help deliver in those tough moments:
- Take a few deep breaths to relax
- Visualize your shot, see it in your mind before you swing
- Have a consistent number of practice swings
- Pick a small target. Aim small, miss small!
- Commit to your shot and swing with confidence!

The second half of our double header this week is again up north, this time at the Grande Prairie Golf & Country Club! Tee times start at 9:45am up there and it's a two day event.
Playing a multi-day event can be a little different, here are some tips to stay at the top of your game:
- Learn from Day 1 -> Take mistakes from Day 1 as learning opportunities.
- Stay fuelled and hydrated -> Ensuring you feel good throughout both days helps keep you playing your best.
- Stick to your routine -> Playing two days instead of one may feel different, stay consistent in your routine where possible.
- Have a bounce-back mindset -> Reset after bad holes and after Day 1 to move on with your best foot forward.
- Have fun -> Connect with old friends and make new ones!

Another week with a double-header! At Olds Golf Club we have our Best Ball Championship beginning at 1pm with a shotgun start!
Best Ball is a popular team format, also known as four-ball or two-ball, where players both play the hole, and the better score is put as the team score. Both players don't even need to finish the hole, as long as one player on the team finishes.
