The Beyond Power Voltra has been one of the most versatile tools we’ve added this off-season.
We believe athletes need exposure to multiple contraction qualities throughout the training week. Strength, RFD, eccentric capacity, isometrics, and velocity all play a role, and each athlete requires a different blend depending on their needs.
The Voltra allows us to train these qualities concurrently within our system while providing loading options that traditional weights can’t.
It’s easy to use, creates endless opportunities for creativity, and gives our athletes a level of variety and intent that keeps training fresh and effective.

[Mentorship]
We had the pleasure of hosting Rachel Lung this past week for our first in person mentorship.
Rachel made the trip from Revelstoke, where she works as both a physiotherapist and strength coach. Professionals like Rachel are rare, someone deeply committed to relationships, continuous growth, and providing the best possible care for her clients. We were honoured she chose to spend the week with us.
Our in person mentorship is designed to give coaches and therapists a true look under the hood at Bold Athlete. Throughout the week, attendees experience every aspect of what we do, from programming and coaching, to track sessions, recovery days, on ice work, and everything in between with athletes ranging from U13 to the professional level.
More than simply observing, attendees are immersed in the process. They coach alongside our staff, ask questions in real time, and gain hands on experience applying concepts in a high performance environment. The goal is to bridge the gap between theory and practice while building meaningful relationships and having in depth conversations around training, rehabilitation, and athlete development.
Our in person mentorship is one of three pillars of our continuing education platform, alongside our seminar series and webinars.
Education has become a huge part of what we do at Bold, and we’re excited to continue building a community of coaches and therapists committed to getting better together.

Summer Jam, hello

Showing up to the gym is only one part of the equation when it comes to an athlete performing at the highest level.
Nutrition and how you fuel your body for performance is a piece often overlooked, but is arguably one of the most important.
To help support our athletes this summer, we are excited to announce our on going partnership with Jill Lane.
Jill has spent more than 20 years as a sought after sports nutrition advisor, elite performance coach and industry leading sports nutrition educator. She has worked with professional athletes and coaches from the NFL, NBA and MLB while managing high profile professional team relationships on behalf of the industry partners she consults with.
She will be supporting our social media with sport performance guidance as well as access to her app, Fueling Champions, to help our athletes track and manage their nutrition this off season.
