🇮🇳 Meet Natyam Dance Academy! This premier Alberta institute is taking our main stage this Canada Day to mesmerize you with their breathtaking beauty and expressive power of South Asian classical dance! 🌟✨

Spearheaded by the brilliant dancer, choreographer, and art educator Malavika Venkatsubbaiah, Natyam Dance Academy was established with the vision of cultivating and nurturing artistic excellence in the next generation of artists. Specializing in the classical Indian dance form of Bharatanatyam, their exceptional talent has graced many prestigious venues across Canada, including the Feats Festival of Dance, CaNatyam Festival, and the Ragamala Music Societies of Edmonton & Calgary.

Supported by the Edmonton Arts Council, Calgary Arts Development Authority, and The Alberta Dance Alliance, the academy is a true powerhouse of local culture. In fact, Artistic Director Malavika Venkatsubbaiah is a proud recipient of the Cultural Diversity Award by the Edmonton Arts Council!
