DouglasQuarry Community Association get out for the special meeting on March 4. We need to get approval for a new community building beside the Douglas Glen ODR. The new building will add secure storage for the ODR maintenance equipment and for items used for community events held in the park.

We are back up and running, the ice is far from our usual standard but it need skates to make it better. Lights are on and the nets are on. There is snow forecast tomorrow so we will clear after and flood again. End game is 2 to 3 more floods ahead of the community party on Sunday.

We are trying to have ice ready for Saturday afternoon. Can't do much until we get frost into the concrete, as it is the water is just running out through cracks

The Douglas Glen ODR is closed, for it to re-open two things have to happen, negative temperatures and access to water. The lights were turned off today, there is too many cracks to safely use the ice. DouglasQuarry Community Association

December 31st, ODR is open, the north net is off until late afternoon. Go into 2026 as a hero, scrape the ice when you are done.
