🔥 Hot Take Alert 🔥

Brad, our E-Commerce Manager, is putting it out there… he thinks 2x drivetrains are better than 1x. 😳

More gears, tighter cadence, and better range? Or is simpler always better?

Now it’s your turn—is Brad right, or is he completely off the mark? Let us know in the comments and settle the debate. 👇

Not all cycling sunglasses are created equal. 😎🚴

Jonny breaks down why a good pair of cycling glasses is more than just a style choice. From boosting contrast so you can spot roots, rocks, and road imperfections, to protecting your eyes from the sun, wind, and flying debris, the right lenses can make every ride safer and more comfortable.

Thinking about upgrading your riding kit? Stop by the shop and we’ll help you find the right pair for your next ride.

A comfortable ride starts with the right saddle. 🚴

If you’re dealing with saddle discomfort, it’s not always something you just have to “get used to.” In this reel, we cover three things that make the biggest difference when choosing a saddle:

📏 Width & sit bone measurement
🔄 Saddle shape & profile
🪶 Materials & padding

The right saddle can completely change your ride. If you’re not sure which one is best for you, stop by the shop and we’d be happy to help you find the perfect fit.

Save $10 on Earlybird BFF Calgary tickets until June 30th. See our link in bio to save yourself a seat!

Last year we nearly sold out the Globe Cinema, jam-packed our bike valet to capacity, and filled the evening with good friends, good times, and a whole lot of fantastic bike content.

The films had the whole room laughing, left us misty-eyed, and most importantly had everyone excited to go out and ride their bikes. While this year's film selection still hasn't been released, we're already excited about what's in store!

During 2025's event, we raised over $6000 for YouthEnRoute to continue building up the next generation of cyclists in our community and we can't wait to do it all over again.

Ever wonder how much the tools in a bike shop cost? 👀🔧

We put our staff to the test and asked them to guess the price of some of the tools we use every day. Some were surprisingly close… others, not so much. 😅

Watch along and see if you can beat their guesses in the comments!

What a day! 🚲☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at YYC CycleFest this weekend. It was awesome meeting so many riders, helping with bike check-overs, and chatting with everyone who came through.

We also had a blast watching all the events throughout the day, from the cargo bike races to all the other fun on-bike challenges that kept the energy high. And of course, a big shoutout to all the amazing vendors and organizations that came out to make the event such a success.

Events like this remind us just how great Calgary’s cycling community is. Thanks for spending the day with us we’re already looking forward to next year! 🙌🚴

We’re heading to Youth En Route Cycle Fest tomorrow! 🚲🎉

Come find us in East Village for free bike check-overs to make sure your ride is ready for summer. We’ll also have Bivo bottles available with our mix-and-match setup, so you can build your own colour combo and roll away with a bottle that matches your bike (or your outfit 😉).

Swing by, say hi, and enjoy a great day celebrating bikes and the cycling community. See you there!
