The stage is set for Club Championship weekend!

The bears are waking up at Earl Grey, it must be Club Championship season!

These coveted soapstone bears by Canadian artist Vance Theoret have become a symbol of championship at our Club.

Since the early 2000s our Champions have been awarded one of these unique works of art in recognition of their exceptional play and place in Club history.

Who will be taking home a bear this weekend? We can’t wait to find out.

It’s hard to believe it’s already been two years since we hosted the CPKC Women's Open at Earl Grey Golf Club.

Looking back, it was an incredible event and a true testament to what our membership and volunteers can accomplish together. More than 20 volunteer committees coordinated over 1,300 volunteers to deliver one of the largest events in LPGA Tour history.

The tournament showcased the best women golfers in the world, highlighted outstanding local talent, and introduced thousands of junior golfers to the game right here at home.

Beyond the competition, the CPKC Has Heart ❤️ campaign raised more than $4.3 million for Alberta Children’s Hospital, while additional contributions supported several other valued community partners.

Now, the excitement continues as the 2026 CPKC Women’s Open heads to Royal Mayfair Golf Club in Edmonton this August. It’s shaping up to be another memorable week for women’s golf, our communities, and everyone who loves the game.
