Growing a human is hard work, and your body undergoes an incredible amount of change throughout!

Taking a few minutes out of your day to practice a simple standing posture (Tadasana) can make a world of difference for your back, joints, and overall health. So practice this often, and keep these few pointers in mind:

🌻 Feet hip-width apart (or wider to accommodate expanding hips later in pregnancy!)
🌷Tailbone tucked down and forward
🌺 Shoulders stacked over hips, shoulder blades drawing together and down the spine
🪷 Chin tucked toward neck to lengthen the back of the neck

Use this as a chance to ground yourself, notice how your body shifts day to day and enjoy a little moment of peace while you're at it!

💛 Your pelvic floor during pregnancy isn't just about doing more kegels for strength.

It's about control and the ability to engage when you need support.

It's about balance and finding stability as your body changes and grows.

And most importantly, it's about relaxation. Learning to release and soften these muscles is just as crucial as strengthening them—especially for birth.

Poses like malasana (deep squat), child's pose, and tabletop position help you connect, breathe, and create space. They teach you to listen to your body and honor its changing needs.

Your pelvic floor is working hard for you. Let's give it the attention, care, and conversation it deserves. 🧘‍♀️✨

A little reminder to check your perspective today:

We hold so much power when we choose how we want to live. We don't always have control over what happens in our lives, but we can choose what lens we see each moment through.

We can choose to respond with kindness and respect. We can choose to be resilient and keep on trying, regardless of how hard it may feel. We can choose to do the hard things in life with a mindset of growth and learning.

Resilience isn't just a quality we are born with; it is a skill to be developed, and it starts with self-awareness. We can only change our reactions if we are first aware of our thoughts, feelings, and the physical changes that come up as we face adversity.

From there, the choice is yours to make. 🪷🧘

At EASE Yoga, we welcome teens and pre-teens to join our regular classes! The younger generation is growing up in a fast-paced world, navigating the pressures of academics, athletics, and the social dynamics of being a teen.

Our classes help youth to:

🧠 Improve focus and resilience
🌿 Strengthen self-awareness and confidence
🧘 Develop emotional regulation
💪 Build physical strength and mobility

We provide a calm, safe environment for them to learn and grow.
