High Crotch shot coming in — here’s exactly how I meet it and turn defense into offense:
1. Meet him hard with my shoulder or chest — stop his momentum immediately.
2. Catch his wrist with one hand.
3. Block his elbow with the other hand and pull it down tight.
4. Explosive sit-out — spin my hips and run behind to take his back.
Key: the shoulder/chest wall + wrist & elbow control kills his drive, and the sit-out finishes the reversal.
This is one of the cleanest and most effective counters to a high crotch. No panic, just smart positioning and timing.
Drill this — it wins positions! 💪

Wrestling is about control, don’t stand still, always change your position, impose your own struggle, always attack but wisely while maintaining control over their grips. Fight wisely! 💪🥋🧠

Sometimes it’s worth flexing your biceps to show the audience that wrestling can be spectacular! 💪🤼‍♂️🎭

“Head outside single leg – opponent blocks my far arm/elbow hard, no easy switch to double.
Here’s how I finish it:
1. Keep driving pressure with the initial grip.
2. Switch knees (drop from right to left knee) to change my angle and base.
3. Elevate my shoulders, create lift and space.
4. Level change + head dive forward into his midsection – drive through his hips.
5. Use the new angle and momentum to collapse him forward and secure the takedown.
Key: quick knee switch + shoulder elevation + aggressive head/shoulder drive turns a blocked shot into a clean finish. Leverage over strength!
This adaptation works great when he’s defending tight. Drill the switch and drive! 💪

“Japanese Mill (Японська Мельниця) – classic arm drag to single leg throw:
1. Grab the far arm from the side (deep triceps or wrist control).
2. Arm drag hard to pull him off-balance and expose his leg.
3. Drop level, shoot in on the single leg with head driving straight into his stomach.
4. Keep the arm tight, lift or drive forward, and throw him clean over your shoulder using the arm + head pressure.
No fancy flips – pure leverage, timing, and head drive. Works great from neutral or when he’s reaching.
This one’s a beauty when executed tight. Drill it! 💪

“Head-inside single-leg takedown – the opponent meets me and fights for head and neck control.
Here’s my quick counter to break free and turn defense into control:
1. Break his strong grip on my arm or hand – force the elbow up or pry it open.
2. Immediately sit out hard while keeping the arm trapped.
3. Spin onto my stomach, rolling over his arm (keep it locked tight).
4. Switch the arm grip to my other hand.
5. Free hand reaches around and secures the back (deep underhook or body lock).
Key: never let go of the arm – use the spin to break posture and gain dominant position.
Fast, technical, and very effective against aggressive head fighters.
Drill this sequence – it turns bad shots into points! 💪
