This little girl is 11 months today! I can’t believe how fast time has gone.
She definitely keeps us on our toes. She’s pretty much a full time walker now. She has 9 almost 10 teeth and climbs on everything! She’s got such a fun personality and is so quiet but you need to watch her because she’s into everything before you know it!
We love her so much! @ Calgary, Alberta

Nolan loves his ice cream!
The first picture is this year and the second one is his first ever ice cream cone last year.
Both are at screamers in Radium, it’s such a special treat when we go there.
Ice cream is my favorite treat (even though I’m lactose intolerant 🤷🏼♀️)
What is yours? @ Radium, British Columbia

Non scale victory
These shorts didn’t fit me 2 months ago, they fit me fine a month ago and now they’re to big!
These are my shorts from between kids and to say I’m excited they’re to big is an understatement.
The weight on the scale isn’t moving much these days but it makes me feel good to see my body responding.
I feel healthier and more in control of my eating then I have in a while and I’m loving it!
What’s your favourite non scale victory?

We had a great day at the zoo today!
Nolan is at the perfect age that he is so excited to see all the animals and already has his favorite ❤️
I think Avery had fun too but she doesn’t really understand yet!
I felt so safe and we had the best time so thank you @ The Calgary Zoo

Progress not perfection
It took me a week to post these photos. Not because I’m not proud of how far I have come but because it’s uncomfortable for me to be so exposed. I’m working on becoming more comfortable with being uncomfortable.
This is my 13 week journey with . I worked out hard and followed the meal plan. I lost 14 lbs and 11.5”. What I gained was so much more! I got stronger and felt more in control of my portions then I have in a long time. It has changed my life and I’m so blessed.
I’m so excited to see what the next 8 weeks and beyond brings! @ Calgary, Alberta

Has your version of a perfect day changed since the quarantine?
Mine has and I’m not even mad about it. Instead of running errands all day we took the kids down to the river and then played out in the backyard all afternoon!
This is one of those days I want to stay once the quarantine is over. What will you take with you? @ Calgary, Alberta

First 5K run of my the 2020 running season.
This is the difference between my last run in January and my run today. I took over a minute off my time per km and didn’t do any running in between.
If anyone tells you weight training doesn’t help with running they’re lying. Through weight training and HITT I saw a huge difference in my cardio fitness.
So go do what makes you happy and know that whatever it is will help you be healthier and fitter.

Simple is best.
That’s my motto when it comes to food. Simple doesn’t mean it can’t be tasty though!
This has been my go to breakfast this week
1/2 cup of egg white+1 egg
Air fryer veggies
Sweet potato also don’t in the air fryer
McCormick Parmesan and Herb seasoning
So easy through together using my meal prepped food and tasted so good!
What’s your go to breakfast?

You may be surprised to know I am not a morning person.
Like if morning starts at 8 or so I’m happy but earlier then that is a struggle. So how and why do I get up at 430 (on weekdays) to workout.
My workouts are my me time, I hold them sacred so I do them before I have to look after my kids. I have to set 3 alarms on my Fitbit to make sure I get up.
I have my workout clothes set out the night before, I have my food prepped and my pre workout ready to go!
My goals are stronger then my excuses so I get up!
Are you a morning person? Are your goals big enough to get you out of bed? If they aren’t maybe you need a new goal 🤷🏼♀️

This week has been tough.
Nolan had a couple really rough days and I’ve been feeling emotionally, mentally and physically exhausted.
I try to be pretty positive about being isolated during covid but it rained all week and we were stuck inside. It was hard but the sun finally came out today!
It was a beautiful day and we spent most of the day outside! I feel re energized and ready to take on the week!
Does anyone else feel so much better when the sun is shining?
Also getting everyone to look at the same time is impossible lol. @ Fish Creek Provincial Park

Are you on the riced cauliflower band wagon?
I love it! It’s not super flavourful so will take on the flavour of anything you put it with and it’s a great low calorie volume food. Also you can forget it’s super easy to make. I buy it frozen and just throw it in the microwave or into a recipe.
I love it like this in a rice bowl, I use it in my fried rice, and I’ve made some delicious breadsticks with them!
What have you made?
