Position: Account Service Representative – Cycling Division
Territory Responsibilities: East-Kootenays – Alberta – Prairies

Newtown Sales Agency represents some of the most coveted brands in the outdoor & cycling sporting industry! We are looking for a motivated individual that is passionate about cycling & the outdoors, and is looking to make a career in the outdoor sporting industry. The job requirements are demanding, yet very rewarding. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, be highly motivated to meet sales goals and be prepared to work long days to meet deadlines!

Responsibilities:
• Present, promote and sell the agency product lines to territory dealers
• Provide best-in-class level of service to our retail partners
• Prepare a sales plan for each brand in the territory
• Educate retail sales staff on the agency’s brands
• Provide our retail partners with the tools they need to successfully sell our brands
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within set schedule
• Generate new business leads
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Support Agency with showroom duties, tradeshows and sample sale events
• Support Agency with promotional events (demos, clinics, retail sales)
• Report weekly on regional sales goals, targets and results

Requirements:
• Based in the Calgary/Canmore area
• Retail & sales experience in cycling / outdoor industry
• Passionate about the outdoors and promoting active lifestyles
• Self-motivated, independent, highly organized and disciplined
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiating skills
• Professional email etiquette and strong writing skills required
• Strong digital skills (B2B platforms, Office, Excel, Social Media, Google Suite, etc)
• Ability to manage your own schedule, work long hours (including some weekends & evenings) and meet deadlines while working remotely
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle

Compensation:
• Base Yearly Salary + Sales Target Incentives + Commission Bonus
• Travel & Vehicle Expenses
