π THE POTTERβS TABLE -
A HARD TRUTH FOR MEN
A man can provide for his family and still fail to be present in their lives.
He can pay the bills, put food on the table, and make sure everyone has what they need.
But let me ask you something, sirβ¦
Does your family feel safe talking to you?
Can your wife tell you what hurts her without being dismissed?
Can the people you love approach you without fear of your anger?
Are you present in their lives, or are you only present in the house?
Providing is important. But provision alone is not the whole of leadership.
Your family needs your responsibility, yes, but they also need your patience, your listening ear, your wisdom, and your character.
A strong man is not one who demands respect but refuses to listen.
A strong man understands that leadership is not just about having authority. It is about using that authority to serve, protect, guide, and build.
π βAnd ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.β β Ephesians 6:4 (KJV)
Gentlemen, this is not about condemning men. It is about challenging ourselves to become better men.
Because the true measure of leadership is not only what your family has because of you, but also how they feel, grow, and flourish around you.
Men, let's have an honest conversation: What do you think makes a man a truly good leader at home, provision, character, emotional presence, or all three?
Ladies, you are welcome to share your perspective respectfully, too. β€οΈ
