🚨🏐🐾 MRU GIRLS VOLLEYBALL SUMMER CAMPS! ☀️🐾🏐

This summer our camps will build of what we created last summer with more court time, position specific training, introduction to beach volleyball and off-court education while still getting the same great experience of being coached by the MRU Women's Volleyball Coaches and our current athletes!

This year, you will be able to choose the best camp for your level of experience and age as we will be offering a Development, Advanced, and High-Performance Camps!

🏐 Development Camp for those female athletes going into Grade 6-9 in the Fall 2026 who have 1 year or less of club experience and/or are on club teams that are consistently playing in division 3 or lower. 3-Day Camp running August 21-23, 2026

🏐 Advanced Camp #1 - for those female athletes who are going into Grade 9 or 10 in the Fall of 2026 and have 2 or more years of club experience on club teams that are consistently playing in division 2 or higher. 4-Day Camp running August 20-23, 2026

🏐 Advanced Camp #2 - for those female athletes who are going into Grade 11, 12, or first year of post-secondary in the Fall of 2026 and have 2 or more years of club experience on club teams that are consistently playing in division 2 or higher. 4-Day Camp running August 20-23, 2026

🏐 We will also be running a High Performance Camp Aug 14-16, which will be by invitation only and limited to athletes who are currently engaged in the recruiting process at MRU.

Our camps have typically sold out fast, and this year, we are only accepting limited number of athletes per stream so that we can keep our athlete to coach ratio around 5:1.

We are proud to announce the addition of Madelyn Roy to the Women's Volleyball Team for the 2026/2027 season!

Madelyn will be joining us from Calgary, Alberta, where she is graduating from Dr E.P. Scarlett High School and playing out her 18U Club year with the .dinosvolleyball .dinos18

Academically, Madelyn will be pursuing a degree in Communications in Journalism and Digital Media!

Taeya will be joining us from Edmonton, Alberta, where she is graduating from Dr Anne Anderson High School and playing out her U18 Club year with .volleyball

Academically, Taeya will be pursuing a degree in Physical Literacy!

Bronny has had a huge part in shaping the culture of this program for the past 5 years. She lights up Kenyon Court with her fearless attacking and crazy celebrations. Her strength and resilience will leave a lasting legacy with the Cougars.

Sydney has had an exceptional career locking down 500 kills last weekend. Her consistency and ability to perform under pressure has been a huge part of this programs successes. Whether she’s on the court or teaching in the classroom, she inspires everyone around her.

Join us this Saturday vs. the Dinos at 7PM as we celebrate Syd in her final home game of the season.

Friday: $5 Fridays presented by , with $5 drinks, hot dogs, and popcorn available at the concession all night long.

Saturday: Senior Night presented by . Stop by the concourse for free neckline and beard line-ups, plus merchandise sales with all proceeds supporting cancer research. Senior presentations will take place between games, and stick around after as we celebrate our alumni and honour our graduating seniors as they officially become part of the Cougars alumni family.

Marie has filled our gym with great music, laughter and hard work over the past 5 years. She has been an exceptional teammate, welcoming new players with open arms. Marie inspires everyone around her with her positivity, energy, and ability to bring smiles to every practice. Her impact goes far beyond the court, and she will truly be missed.

Her aux will forever be missed.
