Since they are the talk of the internet…here are my thoughts:
Regardless of what you believe or choose to do, muscle mass is still key!
Losing weight is only one half of the equation, keeping it off is the other.
And weight loss is much more sustainable when you have muscle to support it!
Being strong beats skinny any day 👏🏾😜
Im all for rest days but when we are here in the gym…we are WORKING!
Y’all know I need to find a way to stay motivated… and I am getting married next year soooo 😅

The evening group is a fun one 😜
The goal is STRONG.
And strong is what lifting will make you.
Strong enough to carry groceries inside in one trip. Strong enough to bend over and pick up something heavy from the floor. Strong enough to stand up from the toilet in 45+ years…
Building strength takes years of consistently showing up. You owe it to yourself (and future you) to start showing up!
“Lifting heavy makes you bulky!”
No…but it will give you the muscle that you need to get off the toilet when you are 70+ years old 😜
Not to mention it’s a predictor of longevity!
But can your grandma do this?!😜
BIG FAN of sprints and explosive short-distance bursts of energy as opposed to long-intense cardio!
