We can't all have a psychologist as a best friend but we all definitely need someone to lean on.
Find someone that you can be 100% yourself with no judgement. Maybe it's a coach, friend, family member or psychologist.
Having a 'sounding board' or source of encouragement is something we all need. It can be vital to our mental recovery, health and performance.
Oh and I may have Carly (my psychologist bestie to my left) but I still see a professional once a month. It was a game changer for my mental health, physical health, relationships and business.
Who is your person to talk to/lean on?!

Agree or disagree: mental stress can affect physical performance and health.
If you're asking me, I 100% agree with the statement above. Sometimes we talk about mental and physical health as different things but they are both 2 very important componets of our overall health and therefore athletic performance.
Time and time again I have seen clients come in with a physical symptom and then after some mindful movement and meditative breath work, their symptoms are incredibly diminished.
My favourite ways to take care of my overall health are:
1. Pilates (or any other mindful movement)
2. Talking monthly with a psychologist
3. Getting outside everyday...sometimes it is a walk, jog or just reading a book
4. At least 1 friend date night a week
Tell me in the comments if you agree or disagree!

I got to have one of my OG's .elms as my last official client in the studio!
The past 5 years have been a wild ride. Both myself and the business have evolved so much.
I thought the day would end in tears but I surprisingly felt so pumped and excited for the next chapter. I'll still be teaching virtually and travelling around the States to work with these awesome players!
Thank you to everyone who came to B2P Pilates Studio. You truly made my dreams come true๐.
Here's to a bigger and better HPR in Texas!!

What foods may help with a deeper sleep?
According to a study by Zeng et all (2014):
1. Tart Cherry Juice: provides an increase in melatonin that is beneficial managing disturbed sleep.
2. Walnuts: may contribute to improved sleep based on the high content of melatonin, serotonin and polyphenols.
3. Kiwifruit: are rich in serotonin and antioxidants which may help improve your sleep quality when eaten before bed.
