The Campbell River Ravens wrapped up the regular season last Sunday with a dominant 10–1 victory over the Oceanside Sharks!

In our inaugural season, the Ravens finished with an outstanding 11–3 record, securing 1st place in the North Division.

What an incredible first year it’s been. A huge thank you to our players, volunteers, sponsors and the amazing fans who have supported us every step of the way. Your support has helped build something special within our community.

The regular season is over, but the job isn’t finished. Join us at the Brindy on July 5th at 5:00pm as we take on the Victoria Tugmen/Arrows in our first playoff game. Let’s keep the momentum rolling and pack the barn!

A dominant home performance vs the Sun Devils, he had the hot hand with 3 goals and 3 assists for 6 points leading all scorers on the night. He was feeling it all game and was finding a way to create offence every time he stepped on the floor. Well Deserved Donnie!

A huge defensive showing on the road vs the Cowichan Thunder. He delivered big hits all night and controlled the back end with his usual physical presence. He continues to set the tone defensively and since blocked shots aren’t recorded we have took it upon ourselves to crown him the league leader in that category. If you disagree tell that to his body, Great game Rhyno!

A break out home game vs the Sharks, putting up 3 goals (natural hatty 🧢🧢🧢) and added 1 assist. He used his speed from the back end to push transition and create offence, turning defence into instant scoring chances. Z is heating up just in time for the playoffs, stay hot kid.

Back-to-back wins for the Birds 🐦‍⬛

Last Saturday at home, the Ravens put together a complete team performance, defeating the Sun Devils 11-3 in front of our home crowd.

We then hit the road and kept the momentum rolling with a 13-6 victory over the Cowichan Thunder.

With the victory over the Thunder the Ravens have clinched first place in the North Division securing home floor for the first round of the playoffs.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support us at home and to everyone who continues to follow us on the road. Your support means everything.

The Ravens are back at the Brindy this afternoon as we take on the Snuneymuxw Sun Devils.

PLAYERS OF THE GAME!

Dominant efforts on both sides of the floor earns the honours for the Campbell River Ravens.

#9 Tyler Spiers was a rock on the defensive end, doing the gritty work that doesn’t always show up on the scoresheet. He battled hard for loose balls, led the charge on the backend, and stepped up with some key blocked shots. Spiers physical game is always present but Saturday in Cowichan was a different level to bring the short handed Ravens a victory on the road!

#14 Tyler Wingert was an offensive engine all game long, racking up six assists in a standout playmaking performance this weekend. His vision and ability to create space opened up scoring chances all night, while his relentless pressure forced turnovers and kept the Ravens on the attack. A difference-maker every shift earned him the honours at home vs the Jokers.

Double header weekend in the books.

The Ravens kicked things off on the road in Cowichan with a strong team effort, taking down the River Rats 11-8.

Back at it Sunday, the boys faced adversity early, falling behind 6-0 in the first period. But true to form, they battled all the way back, making a game of it before falling 10-7 to the Jokers.

A lot of positives to build on as we continue to grow.
