Girls Rock The Rink Hockey Development

It's that time of year again. Cameryn's Cause for Kids Society Girls Rock The Ice Hockey Camp.

August 21 to August 25th.
2 Groups
Group 1 - U7/9/11 - 1 hour ice slots
Group 2 - U13/15/18 - 1 hour 15 minute ice slots
Cost $200 and includes a Jersey.
Goalies $50

I have an excellent line up of coaching staff and on ice help this year.
All proceeds will be donated to Cameryn's Cause for Kids Society.

Year 2 pictures

Day 5 ( yesterday)

what a great ending to the past 4 days by having Mason Harris be our head coach on the 5th and final day.
Mason put the girls through a great on ice session and had a smile on his face the entire time as did our participants.
He told the girls it was special to him to help as his 2 daughters never played this great sport.

We had our check presentation at the end with proceeds going to Cameryn's Cause and Mason had the chance to talk to the girls and coaches about what the cause means to him and how it came about.

The past 5 days for me, was another phenomenal experience and one I will remember forever.
It was great seeing the girls again, especially those from Courtenay who made the trek down.

I want to thank everyone who participated and to all the on ice helpers and all the honorary coaches. Without you this is would be a hard camp to run. Thank you to Primal Athletics for providing the girls an intro to dry land training as well.

Girls:
I hope you have the best season this year. Set some personal goals and go get them! Good luck and see you at the rink or possible for spring hockey next year and Girls Rock The Rink 3
