North Island’s Rumble on the Runway season off to a great start - North Island Gazette With nearly ninety cars registered and several hundred fans and support crew on-site, the first of this season’s Rumble on the Runway drag race series hit the tarmac at the Port McNeill airport on the June 20/21 weekend.

What a great weekend of racing. The bike was on a rail this weekend and so was our team! Couldn’t have done it with them!

We took the win at Doorwarz 14 running our personal best et of 6.27@218mph in the finals against Austin Christopher.

It was a very special and emotionally charged weekend as we remembered and honoured our Friend and loved one Kathy Freeborn. She was with us all day. We all felt her presence shining!
Gone but never forgotten beautiful! This one was for you Kath. We love and miss you dearly! 💕 😇

Big thanks to Mission Raceway Park for doing an amazing job on track prep, weather coordination and all in all getting the weekend done through all the grey skies. Thank you Guys and Gals!
