A fresh coat of paint and this slick cedar sign have really brought this place to life!
We just got the sign up Saturday morning and it turned out so much better than I even imagined! We’re one step closer to opening our doors!
What do we think of the sign?!

Well this is a pretty huge day for us! Our sign finally made it to its final home. Cut from Campbell River red cedar and engraved by Valley Prototyping outside of Comox, it’s ready for a bit of varnish and paint. And then it’s up on the wall!

Things are happening faster and faster every day. Yesterday we received our first order in the store (we officially stock Garmin and Trail Butter!), and today our first signs arrived.
Now that product is starting to arrive and we have some shelves up it’s starting to look like a real store!
The flowers my daughter picked are also a nice touch I think 💐

No social run this week. But we’ll be back at it next Thursday, the 25th! 🏃

Thursday run club will be leaving from Trask Rd. Tonight at 6:30pm!

This kid knows how to bikepack right. The trick is always stopping for a bag of Cheetos before getting to the site so you have something to munch while someone sets up your bed.

It doesn’t really feel fair that Campbell River has so much nature embedded within it.
Most of the town can walk to trails like this one and get completely lost just 5 minutes from home. That’s actually exactly what happened in this picture after zig zagging my way around the seemingly endless trails of the Beaver Lodge Lands for a good hour.

Our first event was a success! Since the store is still under construction, we hosted a few local artists by the house to draw their submissions to the kids 4 kids hat art contest!
I might be biased but I think we’ve have a couple of contenders in the mix!
