It took three years, many tears, more money than I care to admit, but on the 1st of June, I officially became a permanent resident of Canada.
Many things in my life I didn’t have to try all that hard to get but this time, I watched people around me start the process after and sail through without the bags of stress.
I wouldn’t have kept working at it if it wasn’t for my incredible family back home, my friends and my wonderful man. So thank you, each and every one of you for keeping me sane! @ Canmore, Alberta

This is my beautiful mumma,
On the 9th of April she called me to confirm she had covid-19. Tomorrow she returns back to work as a nurse and manager of a nursing home in Scotland.
Thank you for being a real life super hero, I couldn’t be prouder to be your daughter.
To every frontline staff who are continuing to fight this virus regardless of their own safety, 99% of the world appreciates and respects the efforts and sacrifices you are making. ❤️
