After 6 summers with Bow Valley SUP & Surf, it’s once again time to say peace out to our boy Spencer as he heads off to firefighting school. 👨‍🚒

Spencer has been the definition of solid — wicked reliable, hard working, always ready to get s**t done, and somehow managed to become a pretty damn good paddler along the way. 😂

Six summers is a long time to be part of the crew, and after day 2 along he went from being an employee to being a good friend and a big part of the Bow Valley SUP family.

We’re stoked to see what’s next for you, Spence. You’re going to crush it.

You’ll definitely be missed around the shop, on the water, and probably most of all when something needs doing and we realize “s**t… Spencer isn’t here.” 😂

‼️ Our lake lessons for the season are live!‼️

We’ve changed things up this summer-combining lessons and tours into one🎉No more standing in a circle… You’ll learn while paddling, exploring, and actually experiencing the lakes.

This summer 🍣 will be leading our weekly lessons. With over a decade guiding for BVS and experience on nearly every body of water in the park, there’s no one better to learn from. We’re the only crew offering guided SUP lessons within Banff National Park, which makes these sessions pretty special and unique!

Sue’s a busy backcountry chef + mountain explorer, so sessions are limited. If you’re thinking of getting out this summer, don’t wait to book your spot.

All lessons will run in Banff National Park at Johnson Lake and Two Jack Lake.
