Great day backcountry snowkiting up at ptarmigan lake yesterday with a great crew!

Hello Everyone, just wanted to send quick update out to everyone. Rocky Mountain Snowkite will be taking some more time to themselves this year for personal reasons. We are not planning to teach as much this season but do plan on promoting our brands Flysurfer and Ozone and snowkiting more ourselves. We hope to see you out there Kiting and hope you have a great christmas season!

Fantastic 3 day snowkiting trip up on the Wapta glacier! Thanks to everyone who was able to join us this year! It made for some great memories!

Some great snowkiting condition up at spray yesterday with a fresh couple of inches on a 10 cm base with some solid 10 knot winds out of the northeast! Great to see our friend Brent Boddy from Nunavut get in on the good stuff!

Completed a great 2 day trip pulling tobogans and camping out in -20 on Gull lake this week! It was a great training trip for some bigger traverse expeditions to come!

Winds have been silent for the last few days but the spray lakes car wash has reopened for the season!

I put in a big session south to buller creek today. Winds were 10 -20 knots most of the afternoon. Ozone explore 6m was a great choice for todays conditions. Snowpack is getting harder but still some soft snow to be found further south. Great to see Marie-Eve training hard for VAKE!

We had a great day teaching and kiting day up at spray today! We put the new flysurfer peak 4 5m and the Ozone Explore 6m through their paces today. Both are outstanding single skin kites and a great improvement from their predecessors! Both were super stable and way less flappy. We will have them available for demo by next weekend.

just on my way back from Wyoming and the bighorn snowkite summit. Just an amazing event! the kite terrain is unbelievable and the hosptality of all the kiters and staff at the Bighorn high country lodge make this event truly remarkable!
