‘Return of the Ghost’

I saw a grey owl today while out on the land. They sure are beautiful, majestic and and so wise. I also always think of my late grandmother when I see them too. It’s amazing how we connect to certain animals that spark memories from the past.

‘Forty Below’

I remember this night fondly. I ventured out on the land in forty below temperatures to capture an image of a moonrise. After finding the perfect spot to place my camera I waited for the moon. The massive moon started to rise and to my horror my battery either froze or died. I found myself taking in the rise without my camera but I instantly knew that this experience would become a future piece.
