💜🖤🤍 For us at JDA, dance is more than technique and choreography. It’s a place to feel it all, express what words can’t and turn every emotion into movement.

The joys, the frustrations, the excitements, the heavy days, and everything in between… there’s room for it all here at JDA.💜

Sometimes you dance because you’re happy. Sometimes you dance because you need to let something go. And sometimes you just need a space where you can show up, feel it all and leave a little bit of it on the dance floor.

At JDA, we believe dance is about more than what happens on stage. It’s about creating a space where our dancers can grow technically, connect together in community and feel supported through every season of life. 💜

💜🖤🤍 WATCH WEEK WORKBOOKS are here! Make sure your family has gotten one this week from one of our dance teachers in one of your classes!!

*If your dancer was absent this week or didn’t receive one, please let your teacher know via the app and they’ll be sure to get you one!

*Each family will receive ONE booklet to complete together!

*There is one workbook for recreational classes and one workbook for competitive classes — the assignments are different! Yep! We’re giving y’all some homework this season!

*If your dancer is in both a recreational and competitive class, you will receive both variations of the workbook!

*Be sure to return your assignment to one of our dance teachers by NEXT watch week!

These workbooks are a great way to stay up to date, in the know and connected at JDA! 💜🖤🤍 We love our JDA family!

💜🖤🤍Whether your dancer finally masters a skill they’ve been working hard on or bravely tries something new for the very first time, our teachers at JDA are celebrating every win, big and small! 🙌💜 Because for us progress isn’t at all about perfection, it’s about reaching a little higher and stepping outside our comfort zones! We’re big on giving high fives for trying! ✨

🍪🤎 There’s still time (but not a whole lot) to get those cookie dough orders in! 10 more days until this first fundraiser closes!

💜🖤🤍 We just want to thank all of our families in advance for adhering to our social media policies! We also want to share this friendly reminder that when you are taking videos or photos of your AMAZING dancer tonight OR this week during WATCH WEEK that they remain for your eyes only! We ask that you refrain from posting anything on social media where any dancer other than your own may be identifiable. We want to continue to respect the privacy of all our dancers and their families!🤍💜🖤

🖤💜🤍 It’s WATCH WEEK this week!!

Starting tomorrow, each dancer is invited to bring up to 2 adults with them to their classes ALL WEEK long! We cannot wait to have all our wonderful families in the studio with us for our first WATCH WEEK of the season!

Our dancers are ready to give you a GLIMPSE of what they’ve been working on, dancing to and how much FUN they’ve been having in their classes!

Remember, our studio space is limited! That’s why we ask for 2 adults only per dancer! And whenever we have parents and families in studio, we politely ask that you respect our incredible instructors and dedicated dancers by remaining quiet and refraining from engaging in conversation with your neighbours.

Tune in to the app for more details on WATCH WEEK and all important reminders! 🤍💜🖤
